Why is NatWest bank always strict and secure? my dad was supposed to lend me £2,000 today, but he only could transfer £1,000 to my Barclays bank this afternoon around 5ish as my dad's Natwest Bank has a limit on how much he can transfer. Does anyone know that if my dad tries to transfer the other £1,000 at midnight tonight, would it go through?
The first £1,000 he had to send £200 at a time to my bank as his bank wouldn't let him transfer £1,000 all in one go.
Banks are pathetic. Why do they put strict limits on our Bank Accounts when it's our money?

It is a limit on the mobile app only if you haven't registered for biometric approval (with the bank - not your phones fingerprint reader) and are trying to send money to someone new. Its to protect people from scams.
If he has his card reader he can login to the website and transfer up to £20k a day by faster payments2 -
I'd quite like my bank (NatWest) to remain 'secure' so that my hard earnt money isn't fraudulently taken.
Your dad simply needs to sign up to Biometric Approval on the app (which when going to make a payment it even tells you that if you want to make a transfer larger than £1,000 this is necessary) or login to the desktop based internet banking website whereby he will then be able to transfer up to £20,000 in one go with the use of a card reader (doesn't even have to be a NatWest bank one, can be any banks card reader). If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.
Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
Creation Credit Sale 0% x 1 = £112.50pm x 20 mths
0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing6 -

Update: He attempted to send the other £1,000 at midnight around 1am with £200 at a time, and it went through.
