Car insurance

My 18 year old son took out a policy on Friday in his own name with me as a named driver, I have had 3 x sp30’s in the last few years so went onto dvla to get exact dates and only 1 was showing on there from sept 2020, so put the details of that one into his insurance. Today I went on to look at my own car insurance as it’s due for renewal shortly and the details of my sp30’s were on there and it showed my 2 other sp30’s were rom feb 2019 and April 2019, so should have been declared on my sons insurance, I went online to make the change to his insurance to add the additional sp30’s but I couldn’t do it online, so just removed me as the named driver and he has since received new documents and a reduction in his policy. My worry is the insurance company could cancel his insurance due to this genuine mistake made by me giving him the wrong details.

Most young drivers add more experienced drivers to reduce the premium so why were you added in the first place if you increased the premium. 

That said, as long as the current details are correct I don't see any reason why your son should have a problem now.
