Valuing old items pre-sale

Does anyone know a site where I can get an ID on an old vase before listng it on ebay or another online auction.

I have an interesting vase that my late grandmother [b. 1888] had in her childhood home. I'm looking for a description and some background before I list it.
If anyone could help, I'd really appreciate it

Google reverse look up is a good place to start. Also, are there any marks on base , numbers or names?

It might be worth looking at images using the term ‘minton vase relief moulded’. Or Portmeirion Parian ware(although that tends to be a flatter relief)

Otherwise see if any local bricks and mortar auction house will give you a valuation via a photograph.

If you're on Facebook, there are groups for all sorts of interests so if Google doesn't help enough then there'll surely be a group on Facebook with knowledgeable members to help.

A local auction house will have open free valuation days.
