    Then it will probably sold to the likes of Lowell, or Cabot, or one of a 100 other debt purchasing companies.

    They will write and introduce themselves, and invite you to make payment arrangements.

    Around that time would be good to start your debt management or whatever strategy you are going to employ.

    I have read elsewhere that he doesn't have to state all his earnings and outgoings and he can just say this is  what I have to offer take it or leave is that correct?

    He/you anyone can do anything they like, this is a free country we live in, we cannot be forced to go against our will.

    People always ask if we have to do this or that, unless its the law, or a court orders you to do it, then usually no, you don`t have to do anything you don`t want to.

    These companies have no automatic rights to our information, we choose what to share with them, or not to share.
