Travel Insurance Annual Policy Question

Options
Hi All

Wasn’t sure wether to put this in the insurance forum or this one

if I buy an annual travel insurance policy (specifically tesco I am looking at)

it would have myself my wife and two kids on, does it cover me for a social trip alone, and my daughter on a school trip, as well as the family holiday we are all on ?

I have studied the wording the closest I get is that it says one of the kids must be with a responsible adult (if not the policyholder)

I did call them but they aren’t open today

it’s been over a decade (pre kids) since I’ve been abroad so don’t want to make a mistake

cheers and happy new year

Dan
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

I organised several school trips. Insurance was always built into and priced into the trips.

The wording, as you state, says that the kids are covered if travelling with a responsible adult (if not the policyholder).  If on a school trip, I assume that there would be a responsible adult, even though not the policyholder.  For this reason I believe you daughter would be covered.
My interpretation is that yourself and your wife are covered for travelling independently.  So you don't have to worry about cover for your social trips.
