Terms and conditions
By participating, the entrant agrees to the contents of these terms and conditions.
- Maximum one entry per person
- The Promoter of this competition is Wanderlust Travel Media.
- The Provider of this prize is Air New Zealand.
- The closing date for entries is 29 February 2024. Entries after this date will not be valid.
- The prize:
a. Includes return flights in Premium Economy class for two adults to Auckland, via Singapore, from London. Travel is only permitted on Air New Zealand and partnered Airlines operated flights between London to Auckland, via Singapore.
b. The prize includes the airport taxes associated with the flights.
c. Excludes any additional transport or accommodation. The winner will be responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the airport. - The prize must have been booked and ticketed at least one month prior to departure. Travel must have been completed by 14th December 2024. Extension beyond 14 Dec 2024 is not permitted.
- Black-out periods apply from 1 Jan to 20 Feb 2024, 22 Mar to 22 Apr 2024, 8 to 28 Jul 2024 and 14-31 Dec 2024.
- All flights are subject to availability in the applicable booking class for premium economy and these need to be booked in O class through the Air New Zealand Sales team, sinsales@airnz.co.nz.
- Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the winner. It is the responsibility of the winner to enquire about local issues and conditions at destinations before travel.
- If the prize is for more than one person, the entire travel party must travel together on all sectors.
- Any costs incurred from changes post booking are the winner’s responsibility to pay. Upgrades are available at a cost. Changes and upgrades are permitted which any fare difference occurs need to be top up by the prize winner.
- Prize winner tickets are not eligible for any frequent flyer accruals (including Airpoints Dollars), upgrades, companion redemption or credit of tier status.
- The prize cannot be exchanged for cash. This prize is non-transferrable and non-refundable.
- Travel insurance is not provided but is mandatory for travel.
- It is the winner’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport, travel documents, visa and travel insurance prior to travel.
- No purchase necessary.
- No compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
- Entry is free and open to residents of the mainland UK aged 18 or over who submit a valid entry to the competition.
- The prize promoter cannot accept responsibility for late or lost entries.
- Once ticketed, flights cannot be changed, and the prize will be forfeited if not taken.
- Incomplete, fraudulent, multiple or spam entries will be disallowed.
- Air New Zealand reserves the right to exclude entrants from the offer or prize at any time if it believes that the entrant has breached one or more entry conditions, provided inaccurate or incomplete information or otherwise acted in a legally impermissible manner.
- Employees of the promoter or provider, all other prize partners, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion, and their families, are excluded from entering this competition.
- The winner will be chosen at random from those entrants whose entries have reached Wanderlust by the closing date.
- The winner will be announced within two weeks of the competition closing. Details of how to claim the prize will then be sent by email. The winner must confirm acceptance in writing of the prize within seven days of being contacted.
- Wanderlust's decision regarding selection of winners is final and there will be no further correspondence. The Promoter and provider shall not be responsible should a winner provide incorrect contact details.
- If for any reason a winner is unable to accept the prize, the Provider has the right to select another winner at its discretion. The Promoter and Provider do not accept any responsibility if the winner is unable to accept the prize. If a trip cannot take place due to special circumstances, the winner is not entitled to payment or replacement.
- The Promoter and Provider accept no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable for other goods or services and cannot be taken as cash.
- The providers reserve the right to substitute a prize of at least equal value in the event of unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize. Should the value of any prize be less than the value stated, the difference will not be awarded in cash or in kind.
- The Promoter, prize Providers and any associated third party accept no liability for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss and whether or not arising from any person's negligence) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case such liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law).
- In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or any other circumstance beyond the control of the Promoter or Provider, they reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion at any time and without notice. This also applies to any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation, or if travel would be contrary to UK Foreign Office advice, or if circumstances arise outside of its control that prevent the implementation of the prize.
- The Promoter and Provider are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this promotion.
- The competition will be delivered under the terms of the UK’s laws and regulations.
- The winner may be required to take part in reasonable publicity and by entering the competition you agree to take part in any reasonable promotion.
- The Promoter will also use entrants’ personal data for direct marketing purposes where consent has been provided via the opt-in check boxes provided. This includes communications containing news, offers and information. We may also share your personal information, if opt in consent has been given, with third parties, to help manage our business and deliver services. These third parties may include service providers, who perform functions on our behalf such as sending emails, analysis of data, providing marketing assistance. Personal data may be transferred and processed outside of the EU and EEA. You have the right to ask us for more information about the safeguards put in place for transfer of data. You have the right to opt-out at any time, by following the links in the communications to you.

- The Prize Provider collects contact information about entrants in order to contact them about the promotion and where appropriate award prizes and may also use the information to assist the Provider in improving goods and services and to contact entrants in the future with special offers via any medium including mail and commercial electronic messages. - All prize travel will be subject to Air New Zealand's General Terms and Conditions of Carriage.
- The Provider reserves the right to discontinue the offer at any time without giving reasons or to change the terms and conditions of the offer in the interim.
- These offer terms and conditions and the result are not subject to discussion.
