My new Galaxy A54 has arrived and I've managed to get it working and put all my passwords etc in to my apps and sites.

How can I set it up so that I can locate it if I lose it? Which site should I use?

I would need to use my laptop or Chromebook to locate it if I lose it, if that makes a difference.

I have an Android phone and I just typed "find my phone" into my PC, my phone bleeped and my PC showed a map of where it is.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.
  • Yep, as @EssexExile says, this will work if both devices are logged in to your Google account.

https://www.google.com/android/find/ is where you will end up.

There's a Samsung version too, if you are logging into your Samsung account on your phone.

Also you can display a contact number on the lock screen in case anyone finds it.

Don't do what I did and put the number of the phone that's displaying the message......

You can also display an email address or @ tag.

Work very well, even gives the options to lock and sign out of Google or even erase device.

Find the settings for your lock screen preferences and see if there is an option to a message.  If there is write the details you want in the text field and it will show up on the lock screen.

Go to your lock screen settings...You should see two phone like shapes there with 'Edit' in them. Tap that and it'll take you to the area where you put your email details.
