Vinted login problems

I’ve been unable to log into my Vinted account as credentials not recognised, I’m sure I input the correct password and email address is correct, but as not being accepted I used password reset option.  Every password I input it just reloads the ‘choose new password’ screen, no message to say what the issue is with the chosen password, just won’t seem to accept any that I choose.

I contacted Vinted as it seems to be some sort of website glitch, but they’ve asked for security reasons that I send a screen shot of the bank statement showing payments to Vinted, including the account number, and a photo of the payment card used.

Has anyone else had this?  Obviously I’m not sending my entire card number without obscuring any but they won’t sort the issue unless I send what has been requested.  I would be tempted not to bother, but I’ve just had a sale that I can’t complete until I can log in.

  • First thing to check: are you logging in from a link from an e-mail, or directly from the website or app?

    If you're logging in directly, can you use another device or browser?  If not, have you tried turning the one you're using off and on again?  Does the browser or app need updating?

    If not, are you able to wait until later or tomorrow to see if it is just a glitch that resolves itself?

    Btw I'm not actually expecting you to answer all of those questions!  Just some avenues to troubleshoot in case something works so you don't have to consider sending the details you've been asked for.
  • Thanks for your reply.  I’m trying to log in directly on the website. I have only ever logged in using my email so don’t think I can use the other options.

    I’ve tried a different browser and device for the password reset but it’s the same issue.  The issue started yesterday and doesn’t seem to have resolved today so I’ve sent them the information they asked for.  I obscured some of it before sending as not really happy to send financial information via email.  It’s just a bit annoying as I’m sure it’s a glitch at their end.
  • I’ve now finally been able to reset my password, not sure if it’s due to anything they’ve done or if it just started working.
  • Hi @nhoneymon, thanks for posting your trouble with vinted, I am having exactly the same issue, I am sending bank statement multiple times without any proper response, just automated ones, it is so frustrating as there is no other way to contact vinted uk. I had already many items bought but as cannot access my account to print labels unable to post items so probably I am having negative feedback...
    Please can you share how did you manage to reset your password at the end.

  • Hi, I sent them the required documents and then was able to reset my password, but I didn’t have any reply from them so I don’t know if they actually resolved it or if there was just a general glitch on the website that cleared.  Sorry I can’t be more help.  I would suggest to keep trying the reset password link.  It’s frustrating when you have items to send.
