Yes I got the email too.  I am putting £52 to get £8 and leave it at that. Will put rest away in savings bank and see what scheme they announce later in year.

I seem to be able to top up Christmas Savers via the Tesco Clubcard app now, along with the advice that I'll get the bonus in November.

Presumably this is how things are done now and the 1st April was just the cut off to in-store top up support?

Excellent spot. I thought the bonus was finished but will now rejoin. You can top up online too.

Final opt-in and top up date is October 17th, 2024. Diarised - will get it done on October 12th after the Amex statement for the month has been created (so we won't need to actually pay until the start of December, after the vouchers have arrived!).
  • I used to get fed up queuing at Customer Services to pay my £200 pounds in hoping they knew to process correctly.  A pity Tesco never made their plans clearer at the start.

Agree, it's an improvement on that respect - the one minor downer is that if it's processed through the same checkout flow as Clubcard Plus (and it appears to be) then it'll likely not count as a 'supermarket spend' on Natwest/RBS Reward credit cards any more.

I suspect they didn't want to communicate the planned change in case it was delayed (which would have meant April 1st was the final day). Better still would have been to have the new way to top up ready before the old way was turned off, but I presume there was a reason it had to go when it did.

Xmas Savers Top Up cut off date October 17th is a big improvement on April 1st! I will top up in order to get to £100 for the £6 bonus. Handy to be able to top up online. Diary has been set. Hope they don`t disappoint on the Baileys, Jack Daniels and 25% 6 bottles of wine offers just before Xmas!

Could someone who has used the scheme before explain something for me please – if  you put in £100, what denomination clubcard vouchers do you get (eg 10 x £10) ? As I’d want to spread the £100 over a couple of shops in December.

Hope that makes sense  🤔 - thanks
