Kitchen cabinet respray

Our kitchen is in good condition but quite dated so I wanted to look at respraying or replacing the cabinet doors.
I think respraying would be cheaper but will it always look like a patch up job? The before and after pictures look great but I haven’t seen any up close

Is hand painted still in fashion? I've used Dulux Diamond paint brushed/rollered onto old pine doors before, it looked fantastic and was cheap.Signature on holiday for two weeks0
