Nike refusing refund

Nike missed a pair of trainers in my order that was delivered and are refusing to refund the cost. 

I have never had this happen. I've complained on twitter and online chat and they just cut me off and say case is closed. 
Their argument is that the weight of the boxes of trainers match the courier box, which is a joke because the weight of the box received was not what was on the label BECAUSE I WAS MISSING A PAIR OF TRAINERS.

They won't take any responsibility,  so I have to try and claim via PayPal now.

Please tell me someone was able to get their money back one way or another...

if Nike won't refund you then you have only two options

The first is to go via your payment provider - in this case PayPal - and wait and see what they say

if you get no success there then the courts

Had the packaging been tampered with?
