As another with a stash, @PipneyJane, I will admit I've just been looking at yarn online - but I'm not going to mention it in your hearing, in case you get Ideas. Do you have definite plans for the yarn in your stash? Or are you playing 'shop at home' and see what you come up with?
My current yarn projects, in the interests of being answerable, are:- Blue jumper for DH (started two or three years ago, got stuck, am not convinced it would suit him as well as it would suit me...)
- Knitted toy for DGD
- Knitted blanket for DGD (I dread sewing the backing on but apart from that it's nearly done).
- snazzy shawl/scarf in crochet that just keeps growing and not using up the yarn.

@Cherryfudge, my plans are a bit vague but here’s an outline:
- Finish Susan Crawford’s “Simple But So Attractive” from Stitch In Time vol 1. I’ve been knitting that since October, but it’s been in “Time Out” since early November because of what I thought was RSI in my right shoulder. (Who knew: all the twinges were lymphoma symptoms.) It’s in 4-ply West Yorkshire Spinners Signature Sock. I’ve knitted it in the round to the armholes and am now working on the back.
- An Aran jumper in Caithness DK Sedge. I’ve realised that I’m living in a handful of casual jumpers and that my favourite is the Aran I made from the Lord of the Rings yarn purchased in New Zealand in 2018. The Sedge has been calling to me for months. It’s naturally black, plump, already balled up, etc. I just have to find the right pattern. I bought the Sedge at a show from the gentleman who owns the business, then got a few more “emergency skeins” from him at the Knit & Stitch Show.
- Another Susan Crawford pattern, Knitters Delight, from Vol 1 Stitch in Time. It dates from 1938 and Susan has charted it up, etc. This one will be in pale grey 4-ply Great British Yarns’ “Yomper”, which is 70% Falkland Island Merino and 30% Alpaca. Bought the yarn when the original GBY site was closing down. (The website has now been sold and is trading again.). This is the stuff DH wound in my hospital room last weekend, to test that my new Yarn Swift was working properly.
Despite a couple of blow outs at shows, overseas LYS, etc, my knitting budget is £20/month that has its own savings account. I leave it to accumulate until I want to go mad.

I love the new-look hospital equipment, @PipneyJane!
I assume you are 'allowed' to work with the shoulder pain as it's not RSI? Depending on how much it lets you work of course. It's great that you are able to make progress on a piece of work - hopefully there will eventually be a picture of the finished article. When I first had Covid, I completed a Tom Kitten from a knitting magazine and was very proud of him, but he's now in my granddaughter's toy box getting wobbly at the joints (as they do).
My various items are calling to me and I will probably end up trying to add another row to the crochet instead of doing any of the jobs I ought to be doing.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Believe it or not, @Cherryfudge, the first round of chemo drugs took care of my right shoulder. It was all lymphoma cells. No muscles per se. No pain there at all now and I have knitted 5 rounds on a sock since Monday.

@PipneyJane thank you very much for the clarification - I didn't scroll down far enough on pg1!
I love Susan Crawford's patterns and have her Vintage Shetland Project book which has many gorgeous patterns. My stranded colourwork sweater is a favourite pattern from Patricia Roberts, (some of my stash is truly ancient).
I'm thankful that bed linen is not on the coupons as I need to replace a couple of sheets - at least I can use the old sheets as toile material.
I hope all goes smoothly with your chemo.Fashion on the Ration 2025 37/6611 -

I was very tempted by a Fat Face dress whilst shopping yesterday. It was reduced from £55 to £17 so a bargain but I thought about my coupons and didn't buy it. I then found a lovely M&S dress in a charity shop for £5.99 which fits perfectly!Stash busting challenge 2025: 0/100 £0/£100 Fashion on the ration 2025: 0/6612

Oh goodness...
I know I daydreamt about new furniture but somehow it's all started happening and now all our old sitting-room furniture is being collected by a charity on Thursday (ie six days away) and over the coming few weeks we will acquire Mr E's son's old sleek Ikea furniture... we shall have much more storage but with more space in the room than with our current stuff (which was what was being replaced when Mr E moved here, ie for a decade we had his son's old furniture and now we're getting what replaced it there, to replace it here!).
It means a LOT of unpacking and sorting and argh...2025 remaining: 37 coupons from 66:
