Club Lloyds - how do I claim the benefit/ giveaway

Options
Hi I have a club lloyds account but I am finding it absolutely impossible to claim the giveaway (cinema tickets, magazine etc).  I opened the account 2 months ago and upon opening the account it gave me the option to select one of the giveaways, yet here we are two months later and I've recieved nothing.

How on earth am I supposed to get this giveaway?

Thanks

    Thanks but I've already been here.  My issue is this page;
    https://www.clublloyds.com/?ReturnUrl=/pages/choose.aspx#magazine

    Requires me to login.  But my banking login details dont work on this page.  I'm massively confused here.  How are users supposed to login and claim their benefit if we aren't provided any means to login?

    Are they supposed to post a separate set of login details?  The password section makes absolutely no sense "the password required is randomly generated"... by who?  I have never received a randomly generated password?  This is incomprehensible nonsense!

    Surely somebody else has a club lloyds account can tell me how they've got past this step?
  • The log in username is your sort code plus account number. If you haven't got a password, click the forgotten password link.  Or just give them a ring and they will probably sort it out for you.

    I haven't "forgotten" my password though.  I've never been provided one!

    I'm not ringing them.  It isn't my obligation to ring them (for the fourth time).  I've found their phone staff to be beyond useless.  The first one I rang when I opened an account and they didn't bother to send me an activation code for online banking.  I wasted about 20 minutes to be told "we'll text you a code".... the code never arrived meaning I had to call them AGAIN and waste another 25 minutes.  This time I was put through to someone who was baffled when I gave her the sort code and account details, ran through all the security info, told me about a dozen times I'm definitely not a customer... then she realised "oh sorry I'm on the halifax system, let me check the Lloyds system... I'll have to go through your security info again."  I don't know where they find these people!

    I chose the cinema tickets and recall eventually finding an email in my junk folder.

    Cheers.  Madness that their "forgot password" link actually means "generate a password."  Considering banks spend a fortune trying to earn the trust of customers, it's the height of laziness when they don't bother to word things correctly.  Especially when it'd be so easy for them to do so.

    The password isn't usually necessary at all, you should receive an email with a 'secret' personalised link which allows you to bypass it. It's just there as a fallback in cast that doesn't work out for whatever reason.
