Good that you’ve started a diary, it does hold you accountable and there are so many helpful people on the threads.I don’t eat meat, I do eat some fish but am very fussy about there being no skin, bones, heads or tails or basically anything that makes it look like a fish 😆 I tend to eat plant based the majority of the time and like to make everything from scratch and I try a lot of new recipes.Good luck with everything 🙂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Thank you for popping on to comment @jwil and @Sun_Addict. Very much appreciated. When I used to eat fish. I was exactly like you @Sun_Addict - I could cope with a fish finger or something that did not look like it was ever a fish. By the time I had doused it with ketchup I concluded that fish was a bit pointless for me 🤣🤣.We’re doing some menu planning tomorrow and shopping on Monday so will be all set up for returning to work on Tuesday. I must admit I am looking forward to the routine and getting going with all this in my normal life.We have agreed £50 a month personal spends but have yet to agree the structure of this.My plans are coming together. I’m planning to post my intentional actions from next week to keep my head in the game and build habits (good ones hopefully 😁).L x2

Happy New Year everyone. Here’s hoping we all make good progress in 2024 whatever our personal goals are.I have made good progress in some areas this week in preparation for moving forward from 2nd January.- meal plan completed. All cooking from scratch, 3 new recipes.- shopping tomorrow (back to work Tuesday). OH does most cooking but I pitch in at weekends.- budgets and savings pots/emergency fund contributions agreed. Anything extra will go to CC1.- increased payments to CC 1 to about £300 a month more than minimum payment. Will review in August when earnings will increase.I feel that all of these are doable so I’m pleased we have got organised. We’re reviewing every week - money, meal planning and health goals.Onwards into 2024. Will post regularly to retain my focus. It’s helped already as has reading all the other amazing challenges and diaries. Lots of incredible people willingly sharing their difficulties, resolutions and learning for the benefit of others as well as themselves.L x5

Happy New Year LTAMA 🥳 I’m also back at work Tuesday 😭 although WFH which doesn’t seem quite as bad 😬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Yes - I’ll be WFH next week which makes it a bit easier to catch up and ease in. I started reading your most recent diary today @Sun_Addict so I’m going to try and finish it tomorrow. You are very inspiring but I also admire your commitment to your diaries. I feel that will be very important to me. Sort of a way of pondering ideas but also re-committing to my goals on a regular basis. It’s great when people comment but ultimately it’s down to me.This is all very new to me, as you can tell.Happy 2024.L x7
