eBay Private Seller - Self Assessment tax return??

I have been using my eBay account to sell my personal collectibles collected throughout the years. I am not registered as Business Account as I am not in any intention to trade, just to downsize my personal collection.
What is classifed as Income? A painting cost me £500 a few years ago, I have sold this for £550, minus the fee and postage, would the income be £20?

For tax purposes, selling personal stuff isn't relevant. If you were buying with the intention of selling then it would be. There is an eBay board which may be worth a look.Signature removed for peace of mind4
