Once again I have received an email from Mulberry offering not only a sale preview, but also a 10% discount - this is completely genuine as I subscribe to Mulberry updates and this link is direct from them : However, please note the preview/extra discount starts at 9.00am Christmas Day and ends 9.00am on 27th December, after that the link will just take you to the main page - quite useful discount considering the price of Mulberry's beautiful bags!

Happy shopping and wishing all fellow money savers a very happy and peaceful Christmas.

I bought myself a lovely chocolate Antony Messenger bag from Bicester Village for myself for Christmas. I paid £120. Looking at their website i got a bargain! I love it.
We have had a not allowed to get out of PJ's day today, I have been walking around with my lovely bag on as well!0 -
I used this link on Christmas day (after 9am) and thinking I was getting an extra 10% off, bought an Annie bag for £375 only to find it is now £298. Does anyone know why this is? I thought early birds were being rewarded for getting in there first.. I am really unhappy about this and am considering returning the bag.0

Hi, that's awful - I'd call Mulberry customer services and ask them to sort it out for you. When I bought last year, the price went up 10% immediately after the offer ended - I'm sure if you give them a ring they will match the new price for you, it's probably a system glitch. If they ask you how you had the link, you need to say you subscribe to their site, as that's why I received the email.
Good luck - at worst, you can of course return the bag, but I bet you won't have to - hope you get it sorted.THE LONDONERS0 -
I also used the link and found a purse for about 100 quid - went into the New Bond Street store and it was 65!0

I'm really disappointed, I shall be emailing Mulberry to complain - last year it was the opposite, as I waited until I'd looked in the shops before ordering, and found it cheaper using the preview - I would suggest anyone who has bought at a higher price because of this should take it up with Mulberry's excellent customer services team, I am sure they will be refunded the difference.THE LONDONERS0 -
The Mulberry mail order customer service is only open Monday to Friday. I am going to definitely call on Monday. I will let you know what they say! If they give me some of the money back, I am going to put it towards an Angel Jackson Jaguar bag.. Wish me luck!0

If they don't help you over the phone its always worth writing a letter too.
In the end I didn't buy the wallet online because it was more than I wanted to spend, particularly since I couldn't actually see the product, which is why I popped into the store. Pretty cheeky of them though!0 -

If its of any helpto anyone, I understand that some of the House of Fraser stores are selling Mulberry at half price - unfortunately I'm too skint to buy even at that price at present (bought some lovely Prada boots in the sale, so can't have everything) - but would be an excellent time to purchase.
I hope Mulberry do the honourable thing for anyone who was diadvantaged by using their preview feature - I think they probably just made a !!!! up, not really the type of company to intentionally rip off their loyal customers.THE LONDONERS0 -

So I called them today and got the refund of £77. This means I got the bag for the newer sale price of £298 but did not get the extra 10% off. According to the lady at Mulberry, they started off at 30% off with an extra 10% off for the preview. After the preview, they got more stock (or more like there wasn't as much interest as they'd hoped for) and so they marked it down further to 50%. I am happy to have at least got it for 50% off, but still think the preview is a bit of a con.
If this the way they are doing their previews now, if you are brave enough, its probably worth waiting till after the preview.0 -
Thanks for the update, I agree with you - I think I'd only use it for a potential 'sell out' bag in future - sorry if anyone was disadvantaged by this as I thought Mulberry were 100% genuine (although I suppose at least you have the bag you wanted at 505 off -many have sold out now) - I know harrods offer an extra 10% off sale prices for their cardholders - the disadvantage being you have to go there in person which can be pretty hectic during sale times - anyway - enjoy the bag and have a very happy new year!THE LONDONERS0
