Kenwood KTC506S19 , Low Rate Reviews

Trying to check if this 50cm Ceramic Singe Oven Electric Cooker is to be purchased or avoided.
Which gives 58% from average 60%.
Though I've seen comments that cooking can be uneven?
My Hob use is simple, occasional small frying pan/ maybe pot.
I had No idea any cooker could mean uneven or partially cooked food.

I'll need new cooker during '24 and like look of Kenwood and to try Ceramic this time.
Any mse'r offer Kenwood user comments.

thanks

You will always read more reviews and comments about how crap something is rather than how good it is.

Nine times out of ten uneven or partially cooked food is a user failure, either in the preparation, the cooking or the method.  No cooker will protect against user error.

Are you distinguishing between the hob and the oven? I’ve never heard of a ceramic hob giving uneven cooking, whereas it is very common for ovens to have hot areas.

Many people use induction hobs these days, and they much prefer them over ceramic or solid ring hobs.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    from Which,
Hob rings don’t heat up evenly and are slow to respond.

I have never seen any Hob type concern until this which info.
Maybe I'll not notice from my basic needs, though that Slow to respond comment is adding to my concern's'

    thanks until q1/2 '24 I'll
    choose during year.

Don't check reviews for irons. Lots said it was nice and light and lots said it was rather heavy.

I did find Which washer dryers reviews excellent, I've had 2 over 11 yrs tenure.
Which reviews can be useful, not to instantly overpay as I can find cost balance v product features.
Kenwood held until Spring time or later.
Medium PayPal balance to contend with, take 3 Mths or more to settle.

thanks Mser's from my recent posts One Dimplex Panel Heater+Kenwood Electric cooker during 2024.

This cooker is 50cm wide. How wide is the present one and how much space do you have?

We bought a 50cm cooker for this house about 3 years ago. Hotpoint. With a ceramic hob. We are pleased with it overall but regret not getting one with an induction hob. They are more expensive, but controllable like gas.

Be aware that the ceramic top needs a lot of cleaning. It’s not particularly hard to clean, but the shiny surface shows up every mark. Of course, it will still work even if you don’t keep it looking spotless.

I only searched Curry's, seems I'll miss Induction Hob being included as I'm restricted to 50cm's space.
The Ceramic cleaning ref is mentioned via Kenwood choice, though there's one or two non Kenwood's maybe slightly easier.
I assume there must be some kind of Cleaning Product to help.
