Smart Parking - Peace Pagoda / Willen Lake appeal advice

Hello,
I am asking for some advice on appealing a PCN at Willen Lake Peace Pagoda.
I had no intention of parking, just wanted somewhere safe off the main road to check my text messages and make a cup of tea before continuing with my work. I noticed another 2 vans on the entrance road, one was broken down and the other trying to jump start it. I then went to try and assist the broken down vehicle had a chat and finished my cup of tea. I was there for 16 mins. Should have only been 5 at the most but I wasn't too busy and wanted to help the other guys.
The car park has a vehicle height restriction of 1.9M. My van will not fit under the barrier at 2.4M.
I drove up to the barrier, reversed and turned to the right then parked to the left. Basically the exit road.
The camera obviously picked me up before I reversed away from the barrier and clocked me again when I left .
Is it worth me appealing? How do I go about this please?
Many thanks

Appeal as keeper saying it's non-POFA. You can't lose as long as you don't talk about your story or imply who was driving.
Search for any recent Smart Parking POFA appeal and copy. It is THAT easy!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Thank you I will give that a go. Should I mention the van is too tall to enter the car park?Coupon-mad said:Appeal as keeper saying it's non-POFA. You can't lose as long as you don't talk about your story or imply who was driving.
