Partially missing days in council car park

I parked in a long stay car park at Lower Street Car Park in Stansted Mountfitchet, purchasing a pay and display ticket for the maximum duration I could - until the end of that day. I then travelled abroad, intending to purchase parking tickets on the website/app, however forgot to do so until a few days later.
I have now paid the future days, but am missing the previous days. I'm not able to back-pay for the missing days on the website or app.
I understand I'm at fault. What's my best course of action please? Do I just wait to see if I get a PCN or is it better to proactively get in touch with them?
Their phone line is now closed until after Christmas. I've drafted an email to the council parking team explaining this, but wanted to check first.

If you can only pay to the end of the day you arrive then I wonder whether the parking lot T&Cs actually allow you to leave your car for so long. Only time I've done something similar was at a hotel I was staying at for a few days and the machine allowed me to state what day I intended to leave so I could pay it all in one go.

I think you blew it maybe, all depends if the parking attendant caught you they cannot use anpr, you are going to have to ride it out and see, it was a risky strategy:

It's a subsection of the car park that says long term, so I also don't understand why you can't pay it all either.Brie said:If you can only pay to the end of the day you arrive then I wonder whether the parking lot T&Cs actually allow you to leave your car for so long. As I said above, if it's council they cannot use ANPR also if you look at Streetview you can see two parking wardens patrolling near the entrance pay machines.
