Good Faith & 'Token evening charges'

Dear all,
Context: Day rate of £5 paid but forget to pay the 'token evening charge' of £1, and as a result have been issued a Parking Charge Notice for £100 (£60 christmas kindness).
Is it likely that appealing on the grounds of the good faith shown with the (more expensive) day ticket and the comparable insignificant 'token evening charge', would have any success in court?
I have read through the Newbies post but if this is the incorrect method of arising a query, please advise.

Which parking firm has issued the PCN? Is their NtK PoFA compliant? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

The answer to your question is an emphatic no. Do not even think about it.
All the advice you need is in the NEWBIES.
