Who are the witnesses? Friends of your daughter or random strangers that happened to be there?robathome1 said:
The have denied any responsibility, the car was parked and the ambulance reversed into it, no video footage , but witnesses on was in the car the other in the petrol station.DullGreyGuy said:On what grounds has the ambulance denied liability? Or is it they have accepted liability, repaid her insurers but the "courtesy car" is actually a "credit hire car" and the third party insurers are disputing the massive bill rather than liability?
Has she exceed the stated mileage? Did she not inform them when it was obvious that she was going to?
Would be strange position for an experienced counter party to take as insured or not you are liable for hitting a static object. Can imagine some random person thinking they can argue it but not anyone managing a significant fleet of vehicles or their insurers.MeteredOut said:
It sounds like the ambulance's insurance company are stating the OP's daughter did not have valid insurance at the time of the accident, so are not liable for any claim.TadleyBaggie said:Two written off cars in 2 years plus a DWDCA, surprised they will insure her at all.
Still mystified how if her car was parked up, how was she deemed liable?
More likely they are denying making contact with the vehicle/causing damage and say some other vehicle/incident must have caused the damage.Instead of answering a quarter of the questions you're being asked with half answers - why not start again - set out the problem - including as much detail as you can (more than you've provided so far).0
