    Search £2880. My OH and I contribute £2880 to SIPP`s each tax year since 2015. You can get tax relief up to age 75.
    Also check out gifting Marriage Allowance to your husband if you have not done it. I do not know if being a full time carer affects this.

    SP at the moment is likely to give rise to tax for many next year, however, that may not remain the case for ever. It could be worthwhile to open a SIPP or personal pension for yourself (as well as your husband?) as equalising the pensions between you could be a good idea, as you will not inherit much, if any, of your husbands SP now unlike in the past (and vice versa)
