Morning all
So, so sorry to hear your news @TA. Sending you lots of love and good wishes.
Same also for @Coxy11. Bit of a blow to test positive this close to Christmas and I hope you aren't too poorly with it.
DH unfortunately is still faintly positive - it's been 8 days now. He feels fine but we'll carry on for another 24 hrs and cross our fingers for tomorrow. I'm getting worn out with all the up and down stairs plus there's now Christmas stuff I'd like to access in the couple of rooms he's using upstairs. We really don't want to pass this on to anyone else so will stay vigilant.
Stay well everyone.11 -
Morning all
TA I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your dear brother, what a shock for you all, sending lots of love to you all xx 💔💔
Its quite wild and windy here today but the sun is shining which is nice, OH has an unexpected day off today so he is going to nip out and get his last few presents, I am going to stay in and clean out the fridge and freezer and the two larder cupboards and get them sorted out for the Xmas food, we did a big shop yesterday and all the dry foods are still in bags so they need to be sorted and put away.
I have a few cards to deliver to the neighbours OH can do that on his way out and a few last presents to wrap today and that will be my day, OH can walk the puppers later.
Not sure about dinner tonight we may treat ourselves to an Indian takeaway.
WM is on and doing its thing, will get the washing out on the line for a while today.
Coxy I hope you feel better soon and are well enough for Christmas xxx
Have good days all and take care xx10 -

I was late up this morning after waking from 3 until 6 with "dodgy tummy" not sure why but not too bad now.
We are out to dinner tonight to celebrate DH birthday a day early before the "hoards" arrive tomorrow. I will be fine once they are all here just the thought of them all en masse.
Hugs to all who want them, have a good day

Hello all, it's a damp and dreary day here. I was up at silly o'clock coughing again then dropped off to sleep for a few more hours. Yesterday I sorted the freezer out so now the meat is towards the top and I won't need to rummage about in there to find it. I also washed the kitchen floor, another job off my ever growing list.
Today we were supposed to be going to lunch with DD but she's gone down with D&V, seems it's rife in schools around here, thankfully she had her last teaching day yesterday so she can cwtch up at home and get over it before Xmas. Now I have a free day I will get on with some more cleaning and run the hover round, flick the duster and also clean the bathroom. Oh and pull out my turkey plates, hopefully I remember where they are.
TA I'm so sorry to read about your DB, what dreadful news. Thinking of you 🧡
taff I wasn't me who mentioned corned beef pie, but now I want some !
Coxy wrap up warm get plenty of fluids and look after yourself. Hopefully it will have subsided by xmas day.
Take care all, hugs to anyone in need.

Morning All (just)
I was up early so got ready and called at the SM on my way to work - I was surprised how many folk were there at 6.45am!
So sorry to hear you've lost your Darling Brother TA, what a shock for you. Sending hugs your way.
Hope you're feeling better Gers and manage your trip to Glasgow. Coxy, hope you recover soon, such a shame your plans are out of the window for now.
Covid is certainly still doing it's rounds although not much testing goes on these days round here as there aren't any guidelines regarding staying at home and there are plenty of other germs we can share!
Last day today, I'm keeping my head down and staying out of trouble until 2.30 when I'm going to pick the little one up and have her overnight whilst her Mum and Dad get some wrapping. cleaning and shopping done. DD will pick her up fairly early tomorrow as she has an activity class at 10.30.
Washing up to date, all the housework will be done over the next day or two so it's clean for Santa to visit.
Take care. XX

TA, I'm so sorry for your loss, take care.
Coxy and Gers get well soon.
Steve is home we're having to tie him down.
The family are leaving soon, later than planned for an infuriating reason I won't bore you with. I'm hiding while Brian packs the car because that always causes me extreme stress.
Have a good day.7 -

Afternoon all, only just got on as the internet has been playing up, perhaps it's to do with the gales.I was shocked to read your very sad news TA. What an awful thing to happen for your family- thinking of you all and sending love and sympathy (((hugs)))Sorry so many people are unwell and having to cancel Christmas plansWe need to go to the butchers shortly to pick up the Christmas pack, got a turkey joint as a back up. DH pal will drop off the turkey on C Eve. I've done a freezer sort out- did throw some liver pate out that I made, and wasn't keen on. I don't know why I froze it. Also some turkey soup I made after last Xmas, it was hidden and had freezer burn, so I've managed to squeeze the bread and rolls in there.DS1 is having a Christmas meal and drinks out with pals & wants a lift. It's near where our friends live so I'm hoping DH will agree to dropping off their cards. The trouble is they live 3/4 mile up a dodgy unmade unlit road so he doesn't like taking the car up in winter. She did tell me they'd drop our cards off after a sm visit on Wednesday so I didn't post ours, but they didn't come..Right, better get on, hugs to those who need one, and yes Taff, by all means enjoy your rum infused coffee, cheers!:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Afternoon all
Early finish for me today - nursery finished at 1.30 this afternoon - we sat and watched Stickman before home time. I have a peaceful house - little one was coming but plans changed and she stayed with mum and eldest DD has gone to Edinburgh for the day. She planned to go to the art gallery and then she's going to an aerial arts place to do pole dancing and aerial silks - basically twirling around on what looks like long curtains hanging from the ceiling...
So sorry to hear your sad news TA - take care of yourself.
Coxy bad luck catching Covid - such a shame when you had plans.
Gers it was me asked if you'd seen the rainbow clouds. Apparently we had them here in Northumberland yesterday - I would have stood still and looked up if I'd known!
Snoozer - glad to hear you got Steve back home.
Well I'm going to run the hoover over downstairs and then put my washing out, it's nearly finished. I know it seems a daft time but it's breezy so will at least get a bit dry before it goes on the airer, it's forecast to rain tomorrow.
Oh, Izzy 60 days isn't long at all - I'm sure that will wizz past. Take care everyone x7
