What constitutes evidence of payment to park?

Hi, Partner got a parking ticket (Excel Parking Services Ltd.), had paid for entire day until 6 and was photographed leaving at 1 minute past. Appealed due to being in grace period and it was accepted that they do allow a grace period but they said they had no record of any payment being made at all. Partner no longer has the ticket but appealed and sent them a screenshot of their bank statement showing full day payment made. This has now been rejected and the response says you have not shown us evidence that you paid for parking and we have no record of any payment. The payment is clearly shown as having come out of the bank but does not specify the particular car park. Have read there is one more appeal to the body overseeing them allowed. Is it worth doing the final appeal or should we just pay? We don't have the original ticket but surely a bank statement is proof and can't see why they have rejected it. Thank you.

You won't win with an IAS appeal, and why should you pay Excel any money if you've already purchased one of their tickets, especially as you have proof of purchase? Wait to see what their next move might be. Could be a bit of a silly chase via debt collector letters (ignorable) or a Letter Of/Before Claim from Excel or their solicitors, or a County Court Claim via the Northampton CNBC. Come back on this thread should you receive either of the latter two.KTF! ✊🏿Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You won't be paying Excel.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
