Hi, i received a claim form about 2 parking ticket , it is a pub and hotel, it was refurbishment at the pub so the parking was unused and the hotel parking you have access through a gate.
i parked in the front without passing through the gate , the signs are showing pay at meter which is down to the back of the hotel after passing through the gate. I need help in AOS , to who i need to send by email or paper mail, do i have to use money claim website?or not? Then need help for the defence , i passed by yesterday to take pictures you can see how the signs look like and it wasnt those signs before it was only by the gate. (Removed by Forum Team)

You need to redact your name and claim number from those images. We don't need to see the other pages of the claim, just the main claim page. You'll have to report the post to the mods and ask them to delete the pages with your name, claim ref and claim number on them.

The claim states it is from Parkmaven but the signs you have shown us are for a car park run by NCP. Are you sure the PCN is for parking at that location? Was Parkmaven managing the car park back in 2022?

Mohamed, anyone with malicious intent now knows your name your claim number, your MCOL password and your DCB Legal reference number. Anyone can FUBAR your case if you don't remove those identifying items.

  • Many thanks, i have tried when i posted to edit it or remove the whole page , i didnt know how!
thank you , hope they will soon.
so do i have to post again with hiding it.
yes it looks like is managed by others now . So what u suggest me , to ignore or do i have to make AOS first then defending in way was not signage clear about.

If you haven't done so already, you really must report your post now and ask MSEForumTeam to remove the offending images.
At the moment, there is nothing to stop a malicious person filing a rubbish Defence on your behalf.
Can you not see those words in the banner across the top of every page...

    Meanwhile...

With a Claim Issue Date of 13th December, you have until Tuesday 2nd January 2024 to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 15th January 2024 to file your Defence.
That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.
  • Thank you for your response, i would like to know about the AOS should i do it online through the moneyclaim website or send it by email with the form that they sent it to me.

You do it as shown in the NEWBIES thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD

What didn't you understand in my earlier post where I wrote...

I'm really struggling to make it any simpler.

    As I have already written...

Once again, why exactly can't you follow that guidance?

That very same post of mine goes on to say...

Surely you can understand that that means you do not use the MCOL website to 'start a defence'?

Once more, can I suggest that to file an Acknowledgment of Service you follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
There is absolutely no mention in that dropbox file about filing a Defence on MCOL.
