Does the old 28 day rule for switching suppliers again still apply?

I know it used to be the case that once you had changed suppliers there was a 28 day period before you could switch again.  Is that still the case? Just seem to recall seeing something that suggested it was no longer the case.

People were runing into that issue when switching away from British Gas, I think it was.

As they'd been migrated to BG's new billing system, the computer was "seeing" them as a new customer, and blocking transfers within that 28 day window.

Good point, I recall some posts about that with EDF changing systems too.
