Hi everyone ☺️ I'm looking for some ideas for some really cheap easy to make Christmasy things.... I basically support a charity and was wanting to make them a load of stuff to donate for them to sell ( for next Christmas ) bits I can make bit by bit all year. I do donate loads to them all year so don't want to spend a fortune but don't mind buying some bits and bobs. Also its an animal charity so dog / cat items would probably sell well also 😁... TIA....

What sort of crafts do you do ?
Some initial thoughts are:
Hand made Christmas cards
Christmas tree decorations - stars, candy canes, angels etc
Some of the ladies in a craft group I used to go to knitted little covers for Ferraro Rocher chocolates or similar - christmas puddings, snowmen, robins and sprouts I think..
I've also crocheted brussel sprouts in the past with the intentino of making a wreath of them (but not yet got round to doing it - next chroistmas maybe).2 -

If you fancied teaching yourself to crochet (there are plenty of tutorials on youtube and it's not that difficult) then you could look at making something like this - you could make loads quite quickly with a single ball of wool of each of the relevant colour and you can get sets of crochet hooks on amazon for little more than £5.

You don't even need to fill them with the chocolates - let the buyers do that.
If you search the internet for something like 'crochet ferrero rocher covers' - you'll get some ideas and see that a lot of people sell them on e-bay or etsy
or you can crochet christmas ornaments or gift tags - e,g

One idea is homemade baubles, I made them with my team at work and they managed it pretty well, not sewing or knitting required, you'd have to buy the polystyrene balls but the material is pretty much scraps.

I've made pyramid pouches this year, so far made 80 but you certainly need sewing skills. The pouches can hold poo bags or treats & have been very popular.

If you can use a sewing machine, then making covers for packs of pocket tissues (which can be bought for 10p or so a pack in pound shops etc) is quick and easy and they sell brilliantly at a good mark up.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1

My child made some fabulous bath bombs for a school fund raiser that were very popular. We had a bag of moshi monsters (small plastic toys) so we put these in the middle to make surprise bombs.1
