Wealthify Cashback

I opened a Wealthify account with £50 in March on the proviso that I would receive £50 cash back after a year. However, the cash back has already been paid. Does anyone know if Wealthify will “withhold” £50 if I withdraw the balance and close my account?

Was this cashback from Wealthify itself, or through something like Topcashback? I opened a GIA account in Feb via the MSE email link and my plan just has my contribution, but I wasn't expecting anything for a few months.0

I doubt they would get away with withholding money if you choose to close the account. Go for it.0

"10. In order to qualify for the offer you must not withdraw the Qualifying Investment during the first 12 months, or make a withdrawal that takes the total investment within the Plan under the Qualifying Investment"But sometimes what they said it is not necessarily what is applied in the system. I think if you could get all £100,- (£50+£50) in one go there is no way they could recover the £50 reward back.0

I took out the offer on 28 November 22. Message received noting the £50 bonus. But no bonus has been added. Chasing them now.
Edit. They actually paid the £50 into my bank account rather than adding it to my Wealthify account. Not what I was expecting but nothing lost.0
