Natwest App with joint account using Biometrics

Hello !
I recently upgraded my phone and when I logged back into Nat West App it asked me to set up biometrics which I did using face recognition - trouble is now as we have a joint account and only one log in details in my name, the app won't work with my wife's phone as it needs my face !!! Only way it will work is to turn off biometrics so we are back where we were using same log in details on both phones - I think my wife needs to have her own ID number connected to account as their doesn't seem to be an obvious way to set up two people on app for biometrics but when I called Natwest the man answered didn't have an answer for me which is very annoying - I could go into the branch but I can't be the only one who has this issue - I did try tweeting NatWest but my tweet got inundated with spam replies which is rather concerning ..... Anyone else had this issue - we can't be the only couple in this situation .....

Yes, your wife needs her own web login details - i.e. a customer ID. Then you can both have the App. My partner and I both have the App and can see joint accounts and personal accounts for that ID.
Kind Regards,

Go to online banking on a desktop, below the login box you'll see
Not an online user? Sign up here (sorry can't post links)
Your wife can register for online banking there and will see her own personal accounts (if she has any) plus the joint accounts1 -
If you have a joint account you should both have logins - different to each other. Even if it's a joint account! If you've both been using one person's login to access the account you've probably been breaking the bank's rules on logins - which will be personal, not joint. Your wife needs to register and get her own login.0

Make sure you're NOT logged in. As the "Not an online user? Sign up here " message might only be there if you aren't! Actually it should be for all, but if you're already logged in you won't be on the right page which is;Mabeldog said:
