'Tis the season for securing scaffolding! After trying on more than I care to count, I've finally found one bit of armature that fits comfortably - in the sports section! Go figure if you don't want movment but do need a bit of support, they are now calling it 'ultimate' which sure isn't lacey or pretty but does the job under both t-shirts and blouses with not a single bit of wire to be found!

Similar here rt - no wiring, and for use with 'T-shirts', rather than sporting endeavours, but I had seen the sporting ones. My new ones are as plain Jane as they come. Even my maternity ones had a bit of lace on. But plain suits me fine, I want them to 'work' not make grown men go weak at the knees ……#toooldforallthatjazz……🤣

GP - you made me laugh out loud with your "grown men" comment. I'm sure you under estimate your allure 😉

Your experiences with the volunteers at the food waste diversion scheme do give me a wry chuckle. For some years I managed a team of volunteers and I have to say that people who volunteer can be odd in lots of different ways and don't always a) actually want to help people b) understand what the point of the scheme is or c) both. That and some people get a bit obsessed with the 'mission' to the exclusion of everything else (including common sense) and I think the ones that pressure you to take stuff you don't want fall into that category. I suspect a lot people take stuff they don't really want just because it's easier so we'll done for politely sticking to your guns!

Sadly no sweetie, I'm just being honest 😁😘
Lotsoftea - yes, I can see the erm…. dilemma - particularly the not really understanding the scheme. This volunteer has been at it a long time, and I have previously taken bread because I thought it would be easier, but I carried it all the way home (I think we were at the rental then), and found it to be blue with mould and 3 days over BB (and yes, sometimes that doesn't matter - but it was summer….. 🤢), so today I stuck to my guns, but there was alot of bread left for them to shift.
Right, so this arvo changed tack a bit. A friend popped round unexpectedly - which was grand. For once I had cake in the freezer to entertain - go me! 🤣 Then it was school run time. So I've not made the lentil mix, so I've changed my mind, and we'll have smash tacos tomorrow instead, and I shall try and get more creative with accompaniments. Tonight's soup will be sweet potato and butternut squash, using some of the waste table sweet potatoes.
I got the washing in - as, would you believe it, it got too windy! One of my new undergarments flew orf! Luckily it landed in our garden, unluckily in the patch that sparrows had been dust bathing in 🙄 But 99% dry I'd hazard a guess, which is brill 😁
Right, I've a PrC to dig out and some soup to whip up.

😂😂 I still remember with horror the time in our old house when an elderly neighbour called round to tell me my washing, mostly undergarments , which had been in the airer outside the back door (we had no enclosed garden) had blown into the road 😱🙈😂
