I must admit, the beebeecee is not the most accurate of forecasts, and I've used a smidge of nouse (looked at what was going on outside) and looked at the weather map with timings.  As we have a really spiffy (if cold) breeze at the mo, I've taken the plunge with a load of LG's pe kit that for several weeks is getting a hammering due to temporary timetable changes.  If it can get out in this breeze for a few hours, it should come in dry-ish, and ready for use this week.   But it's a gamble.  Normally timetabling leaves suffcient gap for laundering clothing 'sets', but we've a couple of weeks of change to negotiate, so it's more of a gamble in changeable weather conditions.

Composite doors are incredibly good at insulating - that's what we had fitted to the garden office, and the difference in there is just ridiculous - I can see MrEH barely using the heating in there this winter other than on the truly freezing cold days, as the room now warms up relatively quickly simply from him sitting in there.

Overcast and damp here, but enough light coming through the clouds to mean the solar is full and I can wash stinky, muddy dog towels. They may have to go in the dryer if tomorrow is wet, but I'm hoping for some cheap electricity tonight in which case I'll do them then.

I must have travelled through a time loop somehow as I had just looked out of the window & thought I'll have to close the curtains soon.  So far the solar has done a massive 300 watts.

I've had 8kWh more than you so far. But I do have more panels, and you can actually tell that there is daylight outside!
