Does anyone know what power cable this tv needs? Was given it without a cable. Thanks

Much easier if you give the TV make/model
The only thing power related there is the 19v DC input which means you need a power adaptor not just a power lead and would be unusual for a TV but slightly more common for an old monitor.
Would be something like https://www.amazon.co.uk/2-53A-Power-Electronics-22MK400H-34GN73A-B-32MN500M-Black-LG-Power-Adapter-Charger/dp/B0BL7GY9HV/ref=pd_lpo_sccl_3/258-8236898-1536248? but you'd need to check the size of the adapter as LG have done a few sizes over time and cannot see if this is LG or another brand0 -
😩 That makes a lot of sense because it only said Dolby, no model. They said it was a tv but when I looked at it all I had was the screen, then I had to go out. Ok thanks I think it’s just a monitor so I’ll look into that cable when I get home.0

Are there any other labels or plates on the device with a serial number or model number?
Any chance of a wider photo of the front/rear?0 -
Its got an aerial connection so its likely to have a TV tuner in it at least, if its analogue or digital is another question. I'd guess it has sound given the DD licensing... in theory that could be Dolby Vision but doesn't look like the sort of device to have that given the SCART connector.Louiselody said:😩 That makes a lot of sense because it only said Dolby, no model. Ignore the comment about a monitor. Its not unusual at all for a TV to have a separate power supply and hasn't been for a while. If its thin then its likely not to have the room for one internally. Plus the picture shows an aerial which means it has some sort of tuner.
All electrical goods have a rating plate which lists the make and model, power supply requirements etc. If you let us know what it says then we can advise more.0 -
Thanks all. It’s an LG 32LH10B-ZA ??

Don't know the size of the connector but there's a good chance that a standard 19v laptop psu will fit as long as its rated over 2.1 amps
If you have check the polarity of the connector if all matches try it , that way you know if the tv works before splashing out a a psu , just in case!0 -
Oddly our very thin LG, Samsung and Sony TVs all have a hardwired or C7 220v AC power connects and none have an external transformer. The only modern TV that I recall using anything like an external transformer is the Samsung models with the connection box and still that takes a C7 connection and then the proprietary cable to the screenPHK said:
