Lost wifi on HP laptop

Model: HP Envy 15-ah 150na
Running windows 10
Had an issue with wifi generally this morning in the house (Ring chime flashing and tablet not connecting). Restarted Sky router and wifi now working with my phone and doorbell but my laptop will not connect to it. Tried restarting the laptop a few times but will not connect.
Working if I connect an ethernet cable from laptop to router. I've looked in device manager and cannot see any yellow warning triangles in Network Adaptors but not really sure what else to look for?
My router shows with a strong signal when searching for wifi networks on laptop but when I try to connect I just get a 'no internet' message.
My laptop will connect to the hotspot created by my mobile phone so I believe the wifi must be working on the laptop?
Also tried 'forgetting my home network' on the laptop and then selecting it from the list and inputting my password but still getting the 'no internet' message.
Any advice welcomed.
Thanks.

Have you checked to see if you are using 2.4ghz or 5ghz on both the laptop and router (both must match)?

was just about to check that and switched laptop back on to tether to my phone and lo and behold the wifi came back on. The weird thing was when it was off it was only off for my laptop and amazon fire 11 tablet. My echo show was working as were my 2 mobile phones? Not had that before.0 -
Has the laptop been accidentally switched into aeroplane mode?
would've . . . could've . . . should've . . .

Probably the windows 10 bug where it cannot find any wifi sources to connect to even though they are clearly visible when scanned.
I get the same bug on a tablet PC. I sometimes turn the wifi off to extend the battery life a tiny bit and turning it back on it says
no wifi networks even though the previous connections are listed. Sometimes I need to turn the wifi off/on a few times and
sometimes I just need to wait a while before it comes back on.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...1
