Morning all; it's raining again!
Off to get my hair cut in a little while and I can see online that the branch Library on the same site as the hairdresser has two books in that I'd like to read so I'll try and find them on the shelves. Will pick up any food bits at the same time, as it's opposite a huge SM and a few other shops. It used to house my nearest M&S but that one closed down last year and has been replaced with an Aldi.
Crumbs Camelot; I also thought the police had been called to deal with the staff for a minute!
Whilst I'm out DH is going to move his car off the drive and onto the road, as it gets very congested here for parking and at least I'll be able to drive out and know I can get parked when I come back.
Stay warm and well everyone.7 -

While shepherds watched their flocks by night
All seated on the ground
The angel of the Lord came down
And glory shone around
"Fear not", said he, for mighty dread
Had seized their troubled mind
"Glad tidings of great joy I bring
To you and all mankind"
。❅*⋆⍋*∞*。*∞*⍋⋆*❅。Morning! Yearly mammorgram today so I had to rethink my outfit. Dungarees are in use but I don't fancy them dropping round my ankles when I'm hugging the boob squashing machine. I'd better leave half an hour earlier too if I want to find a car park space. Didn't get the car cleaned which is fine since it started raining last night and hasn't stopped yet. I might go out with a spnge and just wipe it as it rains. Todying up today and just general cleaning and organising, and probably a Christmas film or two, I haven't watched Die Hard yet this year or Love Actually. I'll do some crocheting at the same timeSnoozer, oh no! that's just rubbish! Gers, hope the toddy works for your chest. And how nice to go for breakfast out, I am jealous...glad your road is open for friends visiting too...Coxy, yeah, sort it out today in case..Silver Oldie, I second some soup...maybe with dumplingsRuby, enjoy the party, sunds lovely! Chris, happy finishing work for a while! camelot, how annoying. When you're in a small office people forget it's not just them that's arguing, it has an impact on everyone else too. dp1, glad you got your appeal sorted and fingers crossed for your dd's keys to appear...Take care all, including nanny, you could always borrow nelski's charabanc and put him on there by himself

Morning all, it's pouring down here so our trip out this morning will be put off until tomorrow 🤞 I got everything done yesterday including the surgery stuff thanks to the lovely receptionist and now have my next appointment early in the new year.
Today I have to finalise my online shop then make some pasta salad and cook some chicken bits as we're picking up our DGC after school and bringing them back here for tea. They're always starving and they'll soon clear out my freezer !
I hope everyone can have a good day and the poorly ones get better soon, there seems to be a lot of you, mind you I'm coughing too 🤨
Take care all

Hi everyone. It's turned into a lovely day after raining during the night and this morning, cooler though. I went into town this morning to get a few last bits for DSons. Felt like weeks since I'd been on the bus, hopefully I'm on the right side of the cough/coldy thing.Still a bit of a cough, & everywhere you go you can hear people coughing. I hope you all recover for Christmas, Snoozer what a shameSilver-oldie I was glad to see you posting but very sorry to see your DH had passed away, my thoughts are with you. Sometimes I think it can feel too much of an effort to cook just for yourself, I know my late MIL said she wasn't hungry and couldn't be bothered.Gers sorry about your friends stepmum. My cousin had a small bleed on the brain last week but is home now & on blood thinning meds.DP1, glad little one is enjoying this time of yearTaff, ooh yes Love Actually, love that film. Hope you found suitable clothing for your appointment!Oh Nanny, hope your bruising isn't too sore.I'm going to start with the xmas pre tidy in a bit, and wrap the bits I got today. Take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)9
