Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Still dark, raining steadily so wet underfoot with laying water again.
Dinner last night was gammon, egg and chips. Tonight will be the LO gammon, jacket potato and anything that needs using up.
Work today, yesterday was all or nothing, we'll see how today goes.
Keep safe and well x

Sold another top on Vinted yesterday! I’m on a roll. It’s a bit rainy today. About to have breakfast. The pie turned out very nice last night and still have 3 portions left. I need to pick up some green beans. Three more days to go and Friday should be a short day.10

Morning All
What a week yesterday was - so much going on at work, just when I was hoping for a calm and peaceful week! There was a bit of an arguement between two members of staff - one walked out and the police were in for an incident from the weekend, I was mentally worn out by the time I got home.
Anyway it's not too bad out, light rain but still fairly mild. I haven't had the heating on since Friday, just the fire. Washing on the pulley and will do the little bit of ironing I have later on.
Can't remember what happened with you all yesterday but will wish you all a good day and hope everyone is well and Steve is responding to the ABs.
Take care. XX10 -
Morning allWell that's me finished at work until 2nd Jan as I'm dog, cat, bird and fish sitting for my son who with his partner and her son are going to Norway for a few days whale watching etc as his present for his 40th which was at the weekend. So I'm packing a few things to keep me going and I'll be off later. Will have plenty of time to make lists for Christmas food although we'll be back at my son's for Christmas Day but want some goodies for home too! It's going to be a wet day today until at least late afternoon so lots of muddy paws for me to deal with I expect!Have a good day all and keep safe x10

Not much happening. Not eating much so no shopping needed.
Forecast is for rain all day so I'm going to stay in the warm.
If you walk at night no-one will see you cry.9 -
My trip up the new road yesterday was so good 😀 seeing my friends after 10 weeks even better. We didn't hug because of my cold-like thing but it didn't matter. Seeing the hugely damaged hill was a shocker, men are still working on it.The cold-like thing is not the loose type, more congestive so I'm not sure of how it'll go. I've been drinking hot water with honey, ginger and turmeric to warm my tubes. No whisky during the daytime! The chap up the hill phoned me early on to say that his stepmother died that morning. It was her third stroke and unsurvivable, my old friend will be so sad. I'll drop off a card later.Because I can I'm going to have breakfast in the cafe I couldn't reach, it cut down on hours as customers were very few so I want to support them, and get a luscious cooked breakfast. It is 'feed a cold, starve a fever'??10

Morning all
Feels very cold and damp here I have put the heating on for an hour or so to warm the place through, I have 10 people coming today 😳 including myself for a little Christmas party everyone is bringing a plate and or drinks so it has not cost me too much, I will put Christmas music on and then later on a film, should be good fun !Jungle book was interesting yesterday, it was nothing like the original and none of the songs were original or the story 😂 but it was good fun and the clients loved it which is the main thing.
I need to get some chicken out for dinner later I might do a mushroom risotto with some chicken thighs and peas. I have to have a quick tidy through this morning and run the hoover over.
Snoozer I hope Steve is doing better xx
Have good days all and take care xx10 -
Good morning everyone and thanks for the start @nmlc x
A wet start here but I had my bobble hat on so no need for a brolly this morning. Luckily I’m not made of sugar. Both bosses have received notification in their email inbox today that their payslip is ready (payday tomorrow) but I haven’t, which has me thinking someone hasn’t done what they should have…. Will have a conversation tomorrow if I don’t get paid! Another 2 Bay of E parcels for my fundraising being posted at lunchtime whoop!
I’ve used V!nted a couple of times @itsthelittlethings and am surprised how quick and easy it is. I have a few more bits to photograph and get on there but lacking the time to actually do it!!
Sorry work colleagues are not getting along @camelot1001 – it’s very hard being stuck in the middle - thought the Police were coming in to sort them out!
Enjoy the Dr Doolittle duties @Chrisca50 – sounds like you have your hands full!
Stay safe and warm @silver-oldie – how about some soup if you’re not up to eating much xx
Glad you got to visit your chums @Gers and hope the honey, turmeric and ginger helps soothe your throat. Definitely feed a cold!!
Enjoy your house party today @RedRuby1231 xx
Dinner tonight is SW easy chicken curry. Will also do some more gift wrapping.
Have a good day everyone,
Coxy

Morning everyone
Dry and calm here this morning and the sun is meant to pop out later. My appointment at Citizens Advice went well yesterday, they gave me a letter to take to the surgery to ask for my medical notes. You'd think I was trying to rob a bank - apparently they can't just 'give' me them so I filled in a form and they'll be in touch.
I had spoken to a doctor earlier who gave me a prescription for antibiotics and steroids as I have another chest infection.
Eldest DD is on her way home for a couple of weeks so I'm excited to see her when I get home from work later. She's still working, just from a different home, until the end of the week but I'm still at work so that's fine. It means she doesn't have to use up so many holiday days.
Youngest DD didn't get her keys yesterday but made a nuisance of herself so should get them today - I hope so because a man with a van is booked for tomorrow. The workman was at the new house yesterday when she picked little one up from school so she took her in to see it. Little one was thrilled and I had cute videos of her skipping round the empty rooms. DD wants to get in and cleaned this afternoon so I think I'll have her after school. She'd loved the pantomime yesterday so no doubt I'll get a re-enactment!
Right I'd better get on. Hope everyone has a good day x10 -
Hi everyone,
You couldn't make it up, Laura, Brian, Esben and me have all got a d and V bug. I hope Steve escapes and that Esther is protected by Laura's antibodies. Poor Laura has mastitis as well.
Have a good day.9 -

Poor Laura has mastitis as well. That's dreadful for you all! And nasty too, seems to have a lot around just now. Have a look at the NHS site for information about treating it for you and Esther.@DP1 - my fingers are crossed for your DD to get the keys.I've decided against going out for breakfast, I have a slightly raised temperature and really shouldn't spread my germs around so will snuggle under my electric throw, down a dose of paracetamol and have a little nap or two.6
