Carry and reward insurance?

My husband is starting a new job doing multiple drops a day of prescriptions from local pharmacy to patients houses. He will be using our car, but employed by the pharmacy rather than self-employed. The pharmacy are looking to provide a van later in the year, but at present he will just be using ours.
The present policy has no business use, and Aviva will not add any, nor allow any top up policy for business use else.

Is Hire and Reward sort of insurance does he need?
Where would you recommend?

Thank you

Yes its Hire and Reward that he requires.

How many hours a day will he be doing? Is it every day?

There is at least 1 "top up"/PAYG policy you can buy if its limited hours it may be cheaper than a full blown 24/7 policy.
  • It's 9-5 so 8 a day, 5 days a week

Then you'll almost certainly be better off buying a full policy... the top-ups are really designed for those doing it very much part time/casually around other stuff.
