Small correction to your post.noclaf said:I hold a SIPP with Fidelity, had this a couple of years now from a previous cashback offer and is currently invested into a single ETF.
Has anyone transferred from Fidelity from to HL and any idea how the timelines would compare for an in-speccie Vs cash transfer? I am quite tempted based on current cashback!
I just transferred a S&S ISA, in specie ( four funds) from Fidelity to HL ( for the cashback)
It took 6 days. I can see the funds in my HL account, but can not trade in them as they have not yet settled.1 -
Thanks Albermarle and good spot on the typo!Albermarle said:

6 days for an in-specie sounds quick and assume that as it's two of the established platforms. I'm thinking to transfer, get the cashback then will sit back and avoid any dealing activity to keep trading costs minimal (am invested in a single accumulating Equities ETF).0 -
I did a little bit of 'tidying up' with Fidelity before organising the transfer, but not planning any activity with HL, for a while anyway.noclaf said:

Presume you are aware you have to register for the cashback offer before making the transfer?1 -
I did notice that when glancing at the offer.....is there a catch or all fairly straightforward? In my case as I don't have a HL account will need to open a new one too...and before that will need to have it approved by my employer....just a lot of additional faff but think it might be worthwhile for a £1.5k bonus!Albermarle said:

Only catch is if you do not register for the offer in advance, you do not get any cashback !noclaf said:
