I have to admit I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to techy things so i'm not sure what I should be looking for and what to avoid!
Any ideas please? I'd love a 32 or 37 inch lcd, pref digital, tv up to £500. If it's a bargain all the better!!!
Thank you loads!

You cannot go wrong with a samsung lcd.
Have a search for
LE37R87BD
LE37R88BD
LE32R87BD
LE32R88BD
the 32 & 37 are the screen sizes R87 & R88 are model numbers (they are basically identical aside from slight cosmetic differences - the R88s are made specifically for Dixons, Currys etc to stop them having to price match)

With the code 'Pixmas11' to make it £511.
That's quite a good deal. Not 1080p but still a great bargian.0 -
This looks to be a good deal from Dixons, SAMSUNG LE32R88BD 32" HD Ready digital LCD TV at £478.99 with free delivery + use voucher code jan10 for an extra £10 off.
Seems to have everything you need in a tv, plus i've read some good reviews on www.avforums.com
Please don't go solely on my recommendation, as i'm no techie.. just looks a good deal:D0 -

Right chap , try empire direct , we are off there tomorrow , website looks intresting ,
we have been looking for either a lg , sony, phllips or jvc a 37 - 40 inch tv and matching speaker set since september and are dissapointed with the lack of intrest in the shops wanting to take our money ,the prices seem to up and down £50 each way and what we have seen of currys and comets sale i think we wont be buying anything in the sales from them , why wont they give a bit of discount when willing to pay up to £900 in cash for what the hubby wants ,0 -
Must say the sales on the internet have been a bit disappointing, Argos usually have some good discounts but hardly any this year! I am only looking for a TV, I suppose LCD's are in demand so they don't want to lower the prices much.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
