Great British Insulation scheme

Hi All

I applied about 2 months via British Gas as my house 1960s has no cavity wall insulation and minimal loft insulation

Only issue is my house has no EPC rating , so not sure if it will need one before going ahead ?

Company called Dyson Energy Services have contacted me and I need to get back to them as missed their call as was at work

Any one used this company ?

I would imagine they will do a site survey first , be great to get insulation improved as soon as I can due to high hearing costs

Regards Steve

You need a valid EPC on the property. Check if there's one here. Secondly, the EPC needs to have a rating of D-G.

If you don't have an EPC, then you will need to get one done.

Dyson Energy Services are also acting on behalf of Octopus Energy applications. They'll come round and survey the property to see what's best (cavity wall, loft insulation etc).

Worth noting that that government website only lists new EPC's.  I just checked and our new build EPC, issued in 2016, isn't shown.
