Stopped on red route loading bay - fine

i need some advise, I went into London last week and parked my car in some parking bays to pick up my little one and my mrs. I was there for less than a minute as I also had to open the boot of my car to load a push chair in.
This road has red line all the way but has bays marked for loading
i didnt realise that i would get a parking charge from the camera operator

reason : 46: stopped where prohibited (on red route or clearway)
i have attached some pictures, of my car showing parking within the bays and also a picture of the sign from google maps.
Do i have any luck in appealing because its £80 charge which is quiet a bit?
Thanks in advance
edit: just to add, I parked here on a saturday around 3pm

Does the video footage zoom in on the sign or not? I got a family member off one of these because TFL didn't zoom in on the sign.
And in your case you were loading so you will win the appeal anyway. Be confident and do all stage appeals if at first they reject it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I believe if you were to use a parking bay its free after 1;30pm on a sat .
Thats what the parking sign says on google .
How one defines unloading becomes the question .
In practise they probably monitor if no activity is present for X amount of minutes then they argue you were not unloading .

But they will still win on appeal. Loading a pushchair is loading.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

thanks for your reply, i haven’t seen the cctv footage. Ive also received a picture at this stage
they can’t zoom onto the sign because sign is facing opposite direction meaning it was facing front of my car and not the camera
ok thank you. I will appeal today. I wasn’t sure if loading up passengers + push chair is considered loading. I was thinking it might only apply delivery companies or lorries0 -
But you can view footage. The PCN tells you.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

one when I parked
second whilst parked
Third when I drove away.
nothing of the sign0 -
Loading can apply to any vehicle.
Picking up passengers is not allowed - BUT - you were loading a wheelchair.
It's the wheelchair that will win it.
The rest of your story about your wife and family is irrelevant.0 -
