For tracing a lost handset - set up the find my phone/find device feature.

I've been using my old phone for online banking but now need to use the Santander app, for which the old operating system is not modern enough. Are you suggesting it's safe to use a banking app with no external virus protection on Android?nottsphil said:

They check your phone out each time before they let you log on and if they find anything they don't like such as you have rooted your phone or the OS is not secure they will refuse to activate.1 -
Perfectly safe. That's one of the reasons the app won't work on your old phone, the OS is not supported. On a newer phone with security updates an AV isn't necessary.nottsphil said:
