My goodness this week has flown by, can't believe it's already Friday tomorrow!
Had a busy work week, been out more than I have been in the office/WFH. Tomorrow is also an out day and an early start.
Picked up a lovely free light fitting for the front room today from Market Place, didn't even have to go out of my way to pick up as in was on route to a meeting. Love getting free things. I have set myself a challenge to sell 224 items from our home in 2024, first sale today £8.00 for a pair of plant pots.
Have a plumber coming round at 4:30 to give us a price for a new boiler, hopefully that job can be ticked off the list in the next couple of weeks.

Happy Saturday.
This morning we went to a tip shop a few miles away and picked up a vintage wooden nest of table for £5.00, these will replace the g-plan coffee table we have which has a glass top and I am terrified the dog is going to smash, as he is a very energetic boy and thinks out living room is a running track. Will list coffee table on Market Place tomorrow when I have taken some photos.
Grocery shopping this morning and some bit from the pet shop spent £27.19, out of my budgeted £80.00 Had to order a new fitted bed sheet, I have reduced our bedding, only have two sets now, noticed one of the fitted sheets is starting to get a little thin, will be paid for from my house items pot.
Not a lot planned for this afternoon, think I will watch last weeks "Call the Midwife".

Happy Friday!
Today I have taken annual leave, have several days I need to use up before March, Mr D is taking me out to lunch at a small village pub not far from us.If its nice will look to take my mother next month as she like to visit different places to eat.
@~FlowerPot~ very please with the plumbers work, started at 8:30 and all done by 3pm, they clean up after themselves and took away all the packaging, no complaints. Our old boiler was struggling, so nice to turn on a tap and have instant hot water, instead of having to run for 5 minutes. Next room to tackle is the front Livingroom that I want to turn into a home office/reading room/meditation room/quite space, small room that will have lots of functions. Waiting for a builder to give us a quote on our front wall, possible rising damp.
Opened a YBS Christmas Regular Saver paying 6% interest, will be moving my 52 weeks envelope challenge money into this account. I can transfer the money weekly up to £150 per month, ends 31st October just in time for Christmas spending.
Plan for this morning is a dog walk, once the frost has disappeared and some house work. Have a parcel I need to post and need a few groceries, will call into town when we come back from lunch, may even have a quick look around the Charity shops.
