Hi,
I have a Biasi boiler and the ignition flame has gone out and I can find no way of turning it back on. It is christmas eve and very cold and I would dearly love some assistance to get my heating back on.
I look forward to any positive advice.
Kind regards
Geoff

is the lockout light on ?? it is towards the middle to the right of the boiler temp switch, has a flame symbol with a line through it
if so try the lockout reset button to the left of it, you may need to do it a few times to get the air out if theres anyEx forum ambassador

is the pressure guage showing 1 bar or above ??
if low then you may need to use the filling loop to raise the pressure back to 1 bar, the loop should be underneath to the right, two valves connected by a flexible hoseEx forum ambassador

also try a total power off at the mains , leave for a minute then restartEx forum ambassador

HI
So what is it doing? Any noise from it? What pressure ?

Upon pressing the reset button I hear a short whirring noise just before the flame normally ignites and then nothing. My bar pressure is on 3 bar and I believe this is due to a filling loop valve that may have some dirt preventing it from closing, this may need cleaning or replacing. Do you think once this has been addressed and the pressure released that the boiler may come to life. The bar pressure has been high for some time due to the faulty filling loop. I have lowered the bar to 1 bar via a unit within the boiler but it fills back up to 3 bar within a minute.
Many thanks0
