Cardiff Costco - Premier Park Parking Charge - Blue badge not displayed !

Ok, ive seen a few of these posts recently from Cardiff Retain Park, and today, my disabled mother calls me up to tell me that she has receieved a "Parking Charge" from Costco in Cardiff.

Reading the PCN, aparently there was no blue badge shown (that isnt like my mother not to display the badge, so I can only assume that the badge had slipped off the dash, or blown off due to the weather on that day.

Both Mum and Dad are registered disabled, and mum uses s a wheelchair & electric scooter.

The date of the "offence" is the 10th December (which was a horrible day, torrential rain, windy etc), so Mum's focus would have been on getting herself and dad into the store as quick as possible, so she wouldnt have noticed that the badge was not clearly visible.

Mum ended up spending £170 in store (we have the reciept).

Mum is all for holding her hands up and paying the £50 invoice, but im going to fight it.

I called the store who told me that they are unable to do anything. I spoke to the store manager who also confirmed that they can only interviene when there are period of overstaydue to busy times, and that I will have to go through the appeals process.

So here we go ! ....

Please show us the PCN both sides.

When you appeal in the name of the keeper (Mum? Dad?) you may wish to use your email AND change the address for service you YOUR address.  But done 'as them' (not you).

That way you can tell your parents you are handling it and they will hear no more.  Which is true. Because they won't!  You will but in their name at your house.

First thing is complain to the Managing Agents.  NOT APPEAL FIRST.
