Camelot some people are just horrible hopefully Scarlet is off on her travels to enjoy the lovely sunshine I have had a look at my passport last night I didn’t realise it runs out in March hubby is not happy that I am renewing it as he doesn’t intend to go on holiday again but I am determined to go and visit my friends in Cyprus and who knows I might go on a jaunt myself at some point so I am going to renew it at the weekend obviously when I’m away I will miss the dog 🐶 Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing8

Izzy, if you get your photo done by someone who is registered [ we did it in a photo place in Tesco last time] you just need the code for the photo to renew online and it's ten pounds cheaper.

Good morning and thanks for the start @nmlc x The chicken and mushroom pie sounds lush
Beautiful sunrise this morning! Only 3 out of 8 staff in though due to sickness, study leave and planned annual leave. Lovely and quiet here!
Really not on that the parents are grumpy @camelot1001 – they should be better organised!
Safe journey and happy family time ahead for @ScarletRibbons xx
Sorry to hear eldest DGD isn’t getting on well with the uni housemates. Let’s hope she’s more settled at home. Glad to hear she won’t be liable for the remaining rent!
Thanks for the HP meat offers @RedRuby1231 – I will pop into Sainsbobs at lunchtime.
That’s really poor from M&S @Gers L
Lovely to have a meet up with your fellow volunteers @WickedLady4 x
Can concur with big hospital/many corridor confusion @nannywindow! Think they do it on purpose!
Tonight we are having SW beef and mushroom stroganoff then we are off to see Wonka. Really looking forward to it as I love TC! I will call DDad beforehand – he’s now halfway through his chemo/radiotherapy so feels like a milestone.
Have a good day everyone.

@TravellingAbuela Good to hear she's found a replacement person. You hear so many tales regarding landlords and this sort of situation.8

Hi everyone,
We'll I've got lots of time to post although the reason being I am sitting in a and E with Steve. He went to the GP this morning who told him to come in because he didn't think another course of oral antibiotics would sort out his chest infection (possible pneumonia).
At least I got to see Esben's nativity play before I came. He was sitting at the back but kept popping up to wave at us.
Laura and I went to look at the school in the next village because she needed another choice for the school options form. It was lovely very calm but small, too small for Esben I think.
TA I'm glad she got it sorted, nothing worse than housemates you don't get on with.
Rosy, glad you got it sorted and yes I remember growing up in a Victorian house where the only source of heat was the coal fire in the living room. I hated it.
Have a good day.8 -

Wet gear is in the WM having a rinse, I've had a bowl of pea and mint soup with a defrosted sandwich and I'm resting for a bit.7 -

Snoozer, hope they manage to sort Steve out at A&E and he feels more comfortable. Glad you got to see Esbens play though, I love the nativities, shame our DGC are now too old
, even though DGS is still at primary the top 2 classes don't do a show. The school where I worked used to do a Carol concert at least for the older ones but I know it's lots of prep.
DGS has just called with DS,probably to get his oreo ice cream out of the freezer rather than see me - I know my place:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)6 -
Snoozer
Hope they manage to sort some good meds for Steve and he feels better soon
