hi
i have some new oak internal doors and would like them to stay as close to the natural colour they are as possible. Can anyone recommend the best thing to seal them with - wax, oil etc. I have used a "clear" sealer by sadolin for the outside which was meant to maintain the natural colour but is very orangy yellow now and i dont want the inside to go the same way.
thanks

We have just bought some oak (veneer I think) doors and have sealed them with Ronseal clear (matt) varnish and they look great. We don't stop playing because we grow old; We grow old because we stop playing.0

We used a Wax polish (any good wax polish from wood craft supplies shop)
Put it on with 0000 or 00000 grade steel wool and polish it up with the same wool.
Did our doors eleven years ago and it only needed a buff up once.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0
