Change from gas boiler to electric booler
Is it worth changing a gas boiler around 10years old fully working to a new electric boiler as should be cheaper to heat using electric rather than gas ignoring the environmental gain by doing this

When you say 'new electric boiler', if you're referring to a heat pump then the running costs are typically comparable to a gas boiler. However, if you're referring to a conventional electric boiler then the running costs will be far higher. Either way, it's best to stick with the gas boiler while it still works. It is almost never worth replacing a fully working boiler, and it’s never worth replacing it with one that’ll cost four times as much to run.3
