Credit Report showing a Virgin current account that I don't have - Virgin agree too

Having just reviewed my latest Credit Report (on CreditKarma) a Virgin Current account is being reported, with the last four digits being stated..
Whilst I have had several bank accounts and a Credit Card with Virgin, they were all closed before this year, or earlier this year - but the Credit report states that it was last updated in October 2023.
Plus, none of my current/credit accounts match with the numbers stated in the Credit Report (neither the account numbers, nor the 16-digit card numbers)
To double-check, I also looked at my Credit Report with Clearscore, where this Virgin account is also being reported - with a last update date of 16th November 2023.

I raised a dispute with CreditKarma (TransUnion), but they replied within just a few hours stating that my dispute had been unsuccessful :-( Their email goes on to say: "Please feel free to contact us if you have any ongoing concerns or queries about the outcome of this dispute. Alternatively, where applicable, you may wish to contact the data supplier directly to discuss this matter further."
But I have already contacted Virgin, who have confirmed that I do NOT have an account with them. I asked what I could do about it since my Credt Report is reporting that I DO have an account. They just repeated that I d NOT have an account with them, so there is nothing they could do.....
So where does that leave me? Neither the Credit Agency or the reported Bank are willing to do anything, yet I appear to have some erroneous account against my name.
Where else can I go to get this account removed?
For now, I have replied to TransUnion explaining the situation and asking what next steps I could take.

Take the CRA up on their offer and respond with your concerns, instructing them to remove the erroneous data.0

In case anyone was following this.....I didn't get anywhere with CreditKarma (TransUnion).
However, I did raise a Correction request with Clearscore.
Didn't get any reply.
However, have just checked, and the Virgin account has magically disappeared from my Credit reports :-)
On the one hand am happy that it got sorted, but on the other, I am weary that it was there at all AND that I got NO feedback on why it was there or why it was removed.....
Not sure whether I should move on and forget about it.....or request further information.....
