Tax Code Change - Will I get a refund?

Hello! My tax code was previously 1131N and has now changed to 1161N.

My figures for this year so far are
Gross pay - £17,636
Tax paid - £2,018
NI paid - £1,110
Pension - £564

having done a check, on £17,636 income at the new tax code it states I should have only paid £1,205 tax and £607.92 NI.

Does this mean I will get a rebate in my next pay slip?

Yes but not the amount you think.

You have calculated the tax (and probably NI) for the whole year but you have earned £17,636 now so there won't be a "refund" as such but you will notice a small reduction in the tax you pay going forwards.

With an initial one off reduction of £45 in the month to 5 January 2024 (assuming monthly paid).  £5/month reduction thereafter.
