ADT mid contract price hike and options

I'm on a 36 month ADT contract from Jan '23 and received a letter from ADT this week that the prices will go up from next month.

Going through the contract, there's a clause, which I admit not giving attention to when signing it, that prices can increase every anniversary and the consumer has an option to exit the contract with a 3 month notice in such events. There's also a separate clause to exit the contract with no reason at (but not after?) 18 months.

The only option to cancel is by phone, 8:30-4:30 weekdays only, so thought would be good to get some feedback before scheduling work around the call

Just wondering if anyone here can advise or have experience on exiting the contract because of the hike. If that's possible, will ADT remove the equipment from the property or are they considered owned by the consumer? I'm hoping ADT will remove the equipment but I did get that part wrong about the sky dish previously.

Appreciate all comments, opinions and advices

We can't read your contract from here. How new is the install? It's a fairly straightforward to add an SMS dialler to an alarm and have it send messages to a list of phone numbers if the alarm is triggered. If the install is fairly new, then I'm sure ADT will want their kit back.

Why would you want to remove an ADT bell box? They are quite a good deterrent in their own right which is why Ebay is full of them (before ADT get the listings pulled).
